Thanks Melanie!!!!

Dear Great Aunt Melanie,
Daddy's away & just after bath time our doorbell rang.....
with a PRESENT!!!!

What a wonderful surprise to cheer us up!!!

Thank you so much for thinking of us!
Clearly you know who the sheriff in this town is!!!!

I'm certain these shirts will get LOTS of wear!!!

Side note- since the mailman delivers packages from home and usually they include goodies for the boys, he now has more pull than Santa.

Bikes, Tikes & Views

This morning started at 5:30 courtesy of a certain toddler.....
so it's no surprise by 8am the kids were racing bikes around the dining room.

Cheese!!!!

Here's a view from from our study....

Here's the view from our dining room

Here's what Sam's night stand looks like.
Of course.
Who doesn't have a night light, a bible & a gun handy at all times.

Here's how Sam prefers to watch Television......

Normal/ Not Normal???

Me: "Sam, DO NOT lasso your brother. He is not a cow."
Sam: "He's a calf."

One fish, two fish....

The boys started swim lessons today.....
Luke went first.....

Then Sam.....

I got kicked out after taking this picture because no cameras were allowed.
Clearly they don't realize I'm kind of big deal in the blogging world.

So Luke & I waited outside by the fish tank....

Ohhh...fish!!!

Quite a while after the lesson was over, Sam & Daddy still weren't out.
So we went to find them......

Couple a guys chillin in the hot tub....

Hey guys...what about me??

So Luke & I went to the play room.....

And were joined sometime later by a relaxed Daddy.....

And a ready-to-go Sam

Sisyphus

Glutton for punishment, we headed out again today in search of a stroller friendly trail.
This time we brought some help in the pushing department.

Feeling successful we headed up a stair-free path....

Which about 40 yards later turned out to be a road to a water plant.
Oh well.

Daddy trying to blaze a trail of his own.....

After giving up on the trails we found ourselves back at the reservoir.
This time we went out on the boats and fed the fish....

Unless you ask Sam, in which case he will tell you that we fed the sharks.....

They were kinda big fish....

Jaws.....

The dock....

For the record....
Phil took a taxi back up the hill.

Hills.

So, since we have arrived in Hong Kong we have been unable to use our "big stroller" as Sam calls it.
Its a BOB stroller and not really compatible with Hong Kong life because
1. It's a stroller and therefore doesn't go up and down large staircases
2. It's wider than any door I have seen here.

BUT I LOVE THIS STROLLER
(I brought this to HK and left our dog)

It's the best stroller ever...if you live anywhere but HK.

Melanie- if you are reading this, tell Courtney this one is the one she should get!

Anyway, today we decided we had enough and went off in search of a stroller friendly trail.
(there are miles and miles of trails where we live)

I forgot how much the boys enjoy sitting side by side......
they LOVED it!
Sarah, Ty, Marlo & Mia...we missed you guys!

First off I found this.....
(Please tune in to this blog in 18 years for any negative repercussions of living next to a power plant.)

Trail #1
Hmm.

Trail #2
Nope.

Trail #3
Really???

Trail #4
I'm starting to take a hint......

Trail #5
Fine I give up.

So, we walked down the hill to the reservoir.
It was really neat....
(Those buildings in the background are where we live)

We played around by the water and boats for a bit....

Then, when it was time to head home I remembered that we literally live on top of a mountain and that I walked down hill all the way to the reservoir

So, I passed out dum-dums and we made a slow trek back up the hill.

Ahhh, back home.....the entrance of Parkview.
