Well, Phil is off to China and it was hard saying good-bye this time. There is something about him being on the completely opposite side of the world that is very unsettling. He hasn't even been gone 12 hours and I really wish he was home....things are just more fun with daddy around...
Silver lining...I have a whole new understanding Sam's seperation anxiety
And I'm a bit nervous to be left alone with a 22lb ball of energy ..... (Although grandparents are calling left and right to make sure I'm OK and find out when they can come over to help. I'm wondering if they are doubting my parenting skills too?......)
We took Sam to dinner Friday night and it was tag team eating...he was standing up in his high chair, pulling the hair of the lady sitting behind us, & throwing forks...meanwhile at a table across the room a sweet little girl about the same age sat calmly placing Gerber puffs in her mouth one by one.....
I'm hoping it's a boy thing not a bad parenting thing....
So while my hubby is far far away I'm hoping for lots of this.....
Side note, The Occhinos came for a visit last week and look how cute Fletcher is!!!

Sara, if you want to hang out in the evenings at all, while Phil is gone, I would be glad to get together! I am back to work, but would love to see you and Sam! When the men travel it can certainly be stressful and exhausting! I will wish you lots of calm moments! If it makes you feel better, Caroline STILL stands up in her seat at restaurants! :)
