Sam's only smile of the day

Sam the pill
(in his defense he had croup and we didn't know it yet)

We had these pictures taken in Eden Park which has sentimental value because we used to live there, we got engaged there and we had our engagement pictures there...
In developmental News
Luke's New Development:
He sleeps about 4 hours a day. Cumulatively.
No matter what.
We have tried Benadryl
We have tried crying it out
We have tried feeding, rocking, singing.
Today I called my good friend Lynn for assistance.
Lynn- be warned, he may end up on your doorstep.
Sam's New Developments
As a result of my speaking to Sam in baby gibberish the first two years of his life he doesn't enunciate well. But if you hang out with him for more than two hours you will be fluent in "Sam"
Apparently I have been trying to get Sam to enunciate a little too hard because he has started mimicking me rather than enunciating. For example...
"It's nice out.t.t.t.t.t"
"Mommy, read book.k.k.k.k.k"
"Luke down.n.n.n.n.n.n"
You get the idea.
(If you listen very closely you can hear it in the video below)
Also Thanks has replaced "Here you go" and "Your Welcome".
So When he hands me something the conversation goes like this:
Sam handing me a toy, "Thanks Mom"
Me, "Thanks Sam"
Sam,"Thanks"
Lastly, I asked his pediatrician yesterday if he thought Sam had a learning disability because he doesn't know his colors yet and he didn't laugh in my face. He did however, chuckle in my face and politely suggested I just let him be a little boy and not worry so much.
In the past I have self diagnosed Sam with:
1. Brain Tumor (Goose Egg)
2. Leukemia (Bruise)
3. Vertigo (He was learning to walk)
again...you get the idea
So I guess The doctor had the idea that I may be a bit of a worrier.
Video of Sam's enunciation....
it's very quiet because it was taken on my phone
LOVE the pictures. Did you have them done by the same guy that did your wedding? OK, so do you mean Luke sleeps 4 hours total in a 24 hour period? Oh my. This can't possibly last long. Hang in there!!!
