Thanks Aunt Anne!

Aunt Anne's refrigerator went out about a week ago. And is still out.

She has 4 children and is pregnant.

Rather than being upset turned it into an opportunity to be grateful.

So Saturday when we broke our brand new expensive digital camera, I decided to be grateful for the insurance.

(I was also grateful I wasn't the one who dropped it)

Then, on Sunday when we returned home from our 4 day trip to Indiana and our new furnace wasn't working, I decided to be grateful for my home, my warm clothes, and the fact that I'm not Amish.

This morning rolled around...Not discouraged, we went off to Target for a nativity set.

It was a BIG HIT.

Note- The matchbox was a present from Sam to Baby Jesus, and if you are in search of the above Fisher Price Nativity set, it may or may not include a matchbox car.

We returned home, the Furnace man came & fixed the furnace.

Now I am grateful for heat and Aunt Anne whose grace and wisdom helped me all weekend.

And that I'm not Amish.
