Recovery

After his surgery Sam was pretty doped up so he got to hang out in his PJ's and

watch as much TV as he wanted!

Slowly he gathered up the energy to play...

And even eat some pancakes for dinner.....

Luke was so sweet to Sam and such a trooper

This morning Sam woke up at 3 for the day (because he slept too much yesterday apparently)

But he was better than ever, talking up a storm and happy as a clam!

He and Luke even got to help with some yard work!

Then we headed to zoo, which Sam has been wanting to do for literally 5 months....

He was so excited to arrive he had to map out our route...

Giraffes first...

Then the Children's zoo area, the Bears, the lions and snacks!

And they must of had fun because this is how it ended.....
