Missing Parents

Daddy left today for a week long trip. 

This is his longest trip since being in HK, and I think Luke speaks for all of us on how we feel about it....

The boys have gotten to be much better buddies lately. 

They love playing together....

Before Daddy left for his trip we had a big weekend planned. 

Saturday was Ocean Park...

But thanks to an EPIC toddler temper tantrum we didn't go. 

So Luke & Daddy went on an adventure together & I stayed home with Sam and watched E News while he was in his room screaming.

Sunday, we went to the beach.....

and despite some potential danger.......

We had a great time....

Sam & Luke learned how to skip (read sink) rocks

Lately I have received a few comments as to the whereabouts of Phil & myself and if we are in fact alive and well as neither of us have been on the blog for a while...

So here's photographic evidence ...

We ended our day with dinner at this great new pizza place with smoothie king-esq smoothies!

Just before dinner Sam said: "Mom can I have a snack"

I said "no Sam, it's almost dinner."

To which he replied...

"That's ok, I'll eat my snack fast"

I'm not sure if he was missing my point or if I was missing his...
