Today Sam was home from school again. 

I really like it when he is home with me & today I tried to channel my inner-Anne and teach Sam a thing or two. 

Lesson #1 was about Oxygen....

Home school fail #1....I just created a pyromaniac.

Then we dyed Easter eggs!!!

At the end I attempted to teach the kids about what was inside an egg....

Home school fail #2 - despite the fact that I avoided the whole chicken fetus thing, I highly doubt either boy will be eating eggs ever again.

Then Sam said...

"Can't we just play with our toys now mom?"

Translation- Leave me alone woman. When can I go back to school?

Sam has done a better job of teaching me things than vice versa the past couple days. 

For example:

"The Easter Bunny isn't real mom. No Bunnies are that big"

(Valid & one less basket to buy)

When discussing potential baby names:

"I want to change Luke's name to mean pig"

(He's no longer involved in baby name discussions)

and 

"You don't have to take pictures of EVERYTHING"

(He has no respect for the fact that I'm an international blogging sensation)

I recently read that the best gift you can your child is a sibling. 

I've thought of this several times in the past few days and I think it's absolutely true....
