This past week we finally put all our blankets to good use and built a fort around the dining room table.....
And every good fort has rules.....
( #4- Grandma & Pada sent shirts with numbers on the back. The boys thing they are pretty cool)
And after a busy day of fort building and law making, we had dinner inside.
Like any patriotic American, for the 4th of July we are headed to Japan to visit some Mexicans.
To prepare for our trip we went to a Japanese restaurant for dinner with some friends....
where the chef put a live lobster on a hot surface, directly in front of my face.
Then I got to watch it squirm as he cooked it alive, directly in front of my face.
Then, he cut it in half and pulled the meat out of the tail and cooked it while the top half was still moving....
directly in front of my face.
Then he propped the still moving top half up
and set it on fire
directly in front of my face.
I almost vomited.
I will never eat lobster again.
I will prob never eat any fish ever again....
I may just never eat again.
In other news,
school is officially out for the summer.
We celebrated with 3D movie night at our friends house.
We stayed up way too late and
this morning went to have breakfast at the W hotel in Kowloon...
Not a bad view from the restaurant....
or the pool....
And tomorrow we are taking these crazy kids to Tokyo to visit some wonderful friends!
International travel with a 3 year old, 2 year old and an infant sounds fun huh?
Even Noah thinks that's hysterical.......
Konichiwa!
I am loving these posts and updates!!!
