My beloved Keurig, our coffee maker, is broken.
As such, on Saturday morning when Phil said, "I need coffee. Lets go to Stanley!", I thought I should be an obliging wife and go......And romantic visions of a chai tea immediately started dancing in my head.
Apparently Luke had romantic visions of this in his head.
We scooped up a soccer ball at the local Dicks sporting goods to kick around ....
Hey- we all won.....
Unfortunately, while we were out Sam was severely punished for some bad behavior....
by being "forced" to sit in timeout....
Alone, in the sun, on a boardwalk on the beach.
Doesn't he just look so sorry.....
Later that day daddy decided to take Sam for a haircut while Luke and I napped....
Here they are on their outing....
Meanwhile back and home Luke and I were peacefully resting....
Or we should have been but he decided not to nap.
Oh well, look at this face....
And Despite not napping, Luke went to bed around 8 and woke up around 3 AM. Woke up.... For the day.
My little night owl was good company, despite my best (and most likely pediatrician NOT recommended attempts to get him back to sleep) until he fell asleep around 7:00AM
I crawled into my own cozy bed around 7:10 and was woken up by Sam approximately 10 minutes later. And my poor husband has had to live with me all morning....
Which is why I now have an empty house and a post nap opportunity to blog.
Ahhhhh....
And which is also why I decided to move Luke into a big boy bed.
Hey, after you pick up "lamb lamb", who was unfairly launched from Luke's crib one too many times, this kind of thing just happens...
