Well, thanks to a broken Internet I'm way behind on my blogging.
Last week we kicked off a week of amazing weather with a relaxing walk....
Where Luke took a nose dive & ended up looking like this for days.....
It was nothing some snuggles couldn't fix.....
And some wine.....
We got a package from Grandma L with a fun paint craft.....
Thanks Grandma L!
We've keepin things cool in the bath tub....
And late Thursday night we got a special visitor - Grandpa!!!!!!!!!!!
Friday morning snuggles....
We've been keeping Grandpa busy & beating jet leg with all kinds of activities....
Reading....
Ocean Park....
Relaxing....
Pizza & Popsicles on the beach.....
Safety lessons....
Playgrounds....
And today....I promised Sam I we could go get a Chick Hicks (A Cars 1 Character) because his recent potty training regression has been making major progress.
Other behaviors, not so much.......
But potty training is the task at hand......
So, Grandpa took Sam to school and Luke & I went in search of Chick Hicks
And coffee.....
We started by spreading some peace.....
and hitting up a playground....
We found a lovely doll....
and failed on Chick Hicks because they don't make Cars 1 character anymore.
(Would have been nice to know prior to my promise)
We spent the afternoon destroying Kowloon..... and attempting to redirect Sam on what is so far, the biggest disappointment of his life.
We failed on redirecting, but still had a great time....
In other news- if your attention span has brought you this far....
I had my 7 month check up this week where the Doctor informed me that everything looks great and that we will be having "one rather large baby".
Well, as you can see in the picture above I'm not really small anymore but when a Dr tells you you're going to have a "rather large baby"..... it's a little nerve racking for someone who has had a 5lb and a barely 6lb baby and easy deliveries.
I've been having nightmares of delivering a 20 pounder ever since.
