Whats wrong with this picture??

It looks like a Babies-R-Us threw up in our TV room and the only thing he is interested in is the TV Stand drawer. Hmm....
He has also developed an aversion to pants.

and bibs......

and spaghetti......

Crawling through the tunnel!!!!

He gave up about half way! Mom, with a camera on the other side wasn't all that enticing....

My Laundry buddy........

Watchout Milestones!!!!

Major progress in the crawling & standing (supported) categories!!!
If that's not a guilty look I don't know what is!...
"And you didn't think I could stand!!"

"Lemme out of here!!!!"

Here is a video of him crawling....He gets an F for form but it's definitely forward progress so I count it as crawling..... we just need to work on more child appropriate bait

I think it's safe to say we'll be baby proofing all weekend!

Watch what you wish for....

So my wish for before pictures came true tonight when Phil came home and saw the garden. He has a less is more philosophy and was a little concerned about the amount of flowers. So we reorganized, transplanted and I must say, it does look better.
Ready set bloom!!!!
The after.....

And since 99% of the people reading this blog couldn't care less about my garden....
here are more pics of our little Tasmanian devil who wants to hold the camera himself!!

"Lemme show you what it's like to have your picture taken all the time!!!"

A few (or several) Easter pictures

We had a busy Easter! We left Thursday for Decatur to see Grandpa Thompson and all the aunts, uncles & cousins. (Grandma Thompson, Uncle Eustace & cousin Ignace were in Armenia.)

Friday Sam had so much fun watching all the older cousins run around and play! He did get a bit frustrated that he couldn't keep up...or even crawl after them but it won't be long! Saturday we celebrated Easter at Aunt Emily's house where Sam had his first encounter with Easter Eggs as documented below. Saturday afternoon we headed back to Cincinnati.

Easter Sunday Sam woke up and had to find his first Easter basket! A tradition from my side of the family that Phil didn't really care for since he had to search the house for the basket. :) Tricky Easter bunny!!!!! Then we had brunch & Sam spent the afternoon with Grandma & Grandpa Leonard while Phil & I volunteered at the soup kitchen.

Now the important part...pictures.....

Sam, Easter morning playing with his basket.

" All mine!!!!"

One cute Easter smile upon seeing his basket for the first time....

One of the few pictures with someone other than Sam. Grandpa Thompson, Sam, Phil & I at Aunt Emily's

A very concerning yellow egg

Still just checking the eggs out on Emily's floor....

still thinking....

OK! I'm in! Lets play with the eggs!!!!
