It's the most wonderful time of the year.....

This weekend, September 13th, was the 7 year anniversary of our engagement.
Of course I am the only one who knew / remembered this. I used this to my advantage and dragged the boys to the scene of the crime for a fall photo shoot.

The actual spot...

We are in the full swing of school and sports and fall activities.
We have taken the TV away except for about 30 minutes each day when I'm putting Noah down for his nap or maybe before bed.

At first there was some grunting, groaning & begging.

"Let us in! We want wild kratts!!!!!"

But for the most part it's been awesome! We've been loving the fall weather.

They are totally into doing school work at home with me.
Sam's working on learning to read & write and sight words.
Luke's working on letter & number identification.

I've stolen art craft ideas from my brilliant sister in law and pinterest.
Everyone is having a blast.

Most of the time.

And today, we are doing a partial kitchen remodel, getting a new HVAC & duct work and trying to survive without water, gas, a kitchen, heating, cooling and quiet.

Serenity now.

A week in review.

Last Monday Sam started basketball. Phil is his coach.
They both loved it!!!
Sam even got to do the jump ball. He now exclusively refers to himself as a basketball player.

We brought in labor day weekend with a Bengals/ Colts football game.

And a visit from Grandma & Pada.

"Which one do you think we should buy Pada?"

Well this past week we celebrated labor day and summer drew to a close as we spent our last pool day soaking up sun.

We FINALLY got carpet in our basement and it's turning into a livable space.

Part of it....

The mornings are bringing cool air.
AHHH FALL.
Nothing better.

We took Bear out on a special date before he starts preschool.
I think he was happy.....

Then he watched ET fot the first time and he was even happier.

Noah ate a Christmas ornament.
In September.
We spent the afternoon in the Children's Hospital ER.
Awesome.
Christmas 2014 is canceled.

Grandma helped with the other boys....

To punish him I put his hair in a ponytail.

Which looked adorable, by the way......

Friday morning we packed Luke up for college preschool.

He was so happy to go.

It was a little harder on me and Noah.

We started off the weekend with a Friday afternoon car wash

And a visit from the mailman, which was more exciting than the ice cream truck.

Today we started soccer.

I'm officially a soccer mom and I love it!

Have a happy weekend !!!!!!
