Last week was a wonderful week. We got see lots of friends!

We also went to Ault park for a little swing fun...

Friday we hit up Big Apple Bagel where Luke was his normal self....

Jason & his Fiance and future step daughter came in town to celebrate their engagement.

We went to the pool, where I failed miserably at taking any pictures but this one...

Sunday we headed to The Aquarium.

Yesterday we started off the week with another adventure to the zoo!!!!!

Sam was our tour guide.....

And I was able to snap a couple cute pics of Luke, who woke up in a loving mood after the worlds worst night of sleep

This week...

This week took an unexpected FUN turn when Sam's surgery recovery was a breeze!

Sunday was Sam's 3rd birthday! For the most part we brushed over it so that we could celebrate with Phil when he gets back in town but we did head back to our favorite place...

RIVER DOWNS! 

He even got to try on a jockey hat....

And both boys got to keep jockey goggles (I'm sure there is a more official name for them)

Then Grandma T came to town and we loved having her here!!!

Monday we went to the Children's Museum.....

And today we played with Play-Dough,

which Grandma got Sam for this birthday!

Grandma's headed back home!

We miss her already!

Recovery

After his surgery Sam was pretty doped up so he got to hang out in his PJ's and

watch as much TV as he wanted!

Slowly he gathered up the energy to play...

And even eat some pancakes for dinner.....

Luke was so sweet to Sam and such a trooper

This morning Sam woke up at 3 for the day (because he slept too much yesterday apparently)

But he was better than ever, talking up a storm and happy as a clam!

He and Luke even got to help with some yard work!

Then we headed to zoo, which Sam has been wanting to do for literally 5 months....

He was so excited to arrive he had to map out our route...

Giraffes first...

Then the Children's zoo area, the Bears, the lions and snacks!

And they must of had fun because this is how it ended.....

R.I.P. Adenoids

We left Decatur on Wednesday and headed for the last leg of our summer vacation...Cincinnati!

Before we left we made sure to soak up all the fun at Grandma & Pada's

The boys showered under a freshly watered hanging plant....

Sam tried to climb a tree......

And they relaxed on the hammock.

We miss Decatur already!

Back in Cincinnati

Today we got a second set of tubes in Sam's ears and had his adenoids removed.
