Cowboys R Us

Happy Halloween!
We are starting the day by going to Sam's school Halloween party dressed as cowboys!

shhh! Don't tell them they don't have guns. They haven't noticed yet.

It's Almost Halloween!

We've been doing a lot of Halloween Prep work here....

Painting pumpkins.....

Resting up for the big night.....

 Practicing our cutest begging faces....

And of course, preparing for any weather that may come on that night....

Happy Halloween Eve!!!!

Important Business

Phil had to go to China for important business matters.
He's been so busy I have barely heard from him.

I do know he is alive and well because he sent this picture....

Glad to know he is taking care of business.

Time to clean the tombs

Apparently in Hong Kong tomb cleaning is a big deal. Such a big deal Sam gets a week off school for this "holiday" so....
we've been living it up

Ocean Park Sea Lion show.

Flexin....

Luke's phasing into cowboys too....

And he hit puberty...

And in an attempt to take advantage of some amazing October weather and took a trip to the beach......

Conspiring.....
Against me I'm certain.

My beach bums.....

On the way home from the beach Sam insisted on wearing his helmet because "you're a bad driver mom"

And then he "trapped" Luke in this fence...
which Luke played along with as long as we fed him apple slices...

And then we went to a birthday party!!!!!!
My boys- first in line for cake....

Tomb Cleaning day 2....here we come......

Presidential Debate

I'm not overly political but it is important we select the right leader for our country.
Obama?
Romney?

I propose a solution.......

Sam Thompson

He can talk his was into or out of anything he wants.
(Such as coming into our bed at 5 am & making returning to his own seem like the worst idea ever)

He can convince you of anything he wants to
(Based on our conversation on the way to school today I'd say there's a 95% chance, regardless of gender, we'll be naming our baby "TRex")

He has a squeaky clean past
(aside from a few bathroom blunders)

He can redirect a conversation so quickly you won't even remember where you started.
(Me: Sam, would you like some cereal?  Sam: Actually.......
Actually is the conversational kiss of death. You never know where you're going when you hear this....)

He's camera friendly
(Duh)

And he'd have one heck of a VP....

On the other hand,
He'd prob make guns mandatory for everyone regardless of age and The Lone Ranger would be the only programming on television

so maybe he needs a bit more grooming.....
