Today I dressed Sam in a pair of jeans that have a faded look. Phil gets home from work, starts playing with Sam and notices the patch on the back of them says 1989.
Phil: "These jeans say 1989. Is that because they are supposed to be retro?"
Sara: "Yeah"
Phil: (with a shocked inflection) "I have jeans from 1989 that I still wear!!" Pausing for a moment and suddenly proud.... "That was a good year"
Aw Phil, my fashion forward husband.
