We had a rainy week before Easter, so we tried to stay busy and enjoy our numbered days as a family of 4.
We have been all over the place with our summer plans and at one point planned on going to Hilton Head. That didn't pan out, so I shipped a bit of Hilton Head to Hong Kong.....
Sam took an art class with his gal pal Meredith.....
And they spelled their names on our refrigerator....
clearly.
What out HKIS. These are your future students......
Good Friday Daddy went into work dressed like this, with high hopes that the Hoosiers would pull out a victory over Syracuse.
That didn't work out, so we had lunch in Victoria Park & watched some remote control boats....
Phil swore off all sports for the rest of his life & the boys played with some cannons.....
We took a junk boat ride out to a construction site.....
Phil didn't try to jump in and the boys loved it.....
On our way back we saw this sign, unfortunately we saw no zebras...
Saturday we were rained in......
So I took Sam to see the Croods. It was his first movie and while he loved the huge TV, popcorn & 3D glasses.....we only made it 30 minutes in because it was bit scary for him.
Sunday was Easter.....which started off with baskets......
and Church.....
I stayed with the kids while Phil went to mass.....
Although Luke spent his time waiting for daddy to return.....
We went to a friends apartment for an Easter Egg hunt....
the chocolate didn't stand a chance......
Came back for some arts & crafts....
and spent the rest of the day relaxing...
This morning, April 1st, we woke up and enjoyed some breakfast and coffee while watching this lady clean windows about 8 stories high and potentially fall to her death....
fortunately she survived.
Then we went to Stanley for some balloons, pizza & scooter riding....
Luke attempted to do all 3 at once.....
Happy Easter to our friends and family state side.
We miss you....
